Goa is India’s smallest State in terms of area. It is located on the West coast of India. Originally it is known as Konkan. The Arabian Sea forms its Western coast and created innumerable beautiful beaches. Panaji is the capital of Goa and Vasco dagama is the largest city. It was a Portuguese colony in the 16th century. Portuguese ruled over the State for 450 years until it was annexed by India in 1961. It is renowned for its beaches, places of worships and world heritage architecture. Having been ruled by the colonial Portuguese for over 450 years, there is still a distinctive European flavor that has permeated all aspects of Goa’s life including food, religion, language, festivals, dances and music. Goa is best known for its beaches and luxurious hotels. But there are many old Churches, monuments, temples and museums that are also worth seeing. Goa is India’s smallest State in terms of area. Thousands of foreigners come to lay hours and hours on the beach of Goa and soak in the sun: Numerous clean beaches as well as Sunshine most part of the year makes this a natural vacations, holiday and partying place for Indians as well as Sun seeking Europeans and Americans. November to March is the best time when thousands of foreigners come to lay hours and hours on the beach and soak in the sun. Having been ruled by the colonial Portuguese for over 450 years, there is still a distinctive European flavor that has permeated all aspects of Goa’s life including food, religion, language, festivals, dances and music. Goa is best known for its beaches and luxurious hotels. The important beaches of Goa can be named as: Palolem, Anjuna, Arambol and Candolim for sunset.

Goa’s Soil is reddish in colour: 300 hundred ancient tanks and a hundred medicinal springs had been built during Kadamba dynasty for the well fare of the society, found to be seen even today. Goa’s soil is a special attraction for tourists because the colour of the soil is reddish probably due to excess of ferric Aluminum oxides. For better administration Goa is divided into North Goa and South Goa. Panaji is the Head quarter of North-Goa while Margo is for the South. Western Ghats (most of eastern Goa) is one of the biodiversity of hotspots of the world.

Goa must be very beautiful with so many beaches to relax and enjoy the sea water. I haven't heard much of Goa and i thank you for sharing this and learn more about this wonderful paradise.

Yes, it is beautiful, mostly natural, a God's creation which is always superior than human's creation.
