Goa’s soil is a special attraction for tourists because the colour of the soil is reddish probably due to excess of ferric Aluminum oxides. For better administration Goa is divided into North Goa and South Goa. Panaji is the Head quarter of North-Goa while Margo is for the South. Western Ghats (most of eastern Goa) is one of the biodiversity of hotspots of the world.
