Barak Obama was elected, the President of America:

When the US in the grief of economic crisis, Retail sails went down, the business of Real Estate was in its worst state, the Capital market business NASDAQ had plunged into the bottom, the business in the Banking sector and Financial sector were getting deteriorated day after day and went to the state of collapse, the collapse of Lehan Brothers had shaken the Banking System of America,  the cry for closing of outsourcing business was in every bodies lips, Barak Obama had emerged as the President of America defeating the Republican candidate John McCain. Lehman Brothers, one of the most prestigious players on the Wall Street, filled for bankruptcy protection after a frenzied weekend of the negotiations failed to find a way of saving the company which had putted tens of thousands of jobs around the world at risk. It had sent a shockwaves around the banking world. The Americans had considered the President Barak Obama as an angel of saver of the Nation and expected a charismatic change in the economy of the country. People heard President in his inaugural speech and rested with great hope. There was expectation and hope, hope and hope in every body’s mind. By the time nine months had already been elapsed, there had happened nothing substantial in spite of President’s assurances and whatever the measure had undertaken. People lost faith over President and protest against President came into surface as the shadow of unemployment set rolling in the country in spite of all measurable methods adopted by the administration.

Oslo declared Nobel Peace Prize to President Barak Obama:

The Nobel Peace Prize was recognized by the world as the most prestigious prize since its inception from 1901. Criticism surfaced from many corners of the world, even from the few of Nobel Laureate. But Norwegian Nobel Committee considered the President Barak Obama the right person for the Nobel Peace Prize for the year 2009. The prize includes about $1.3 million, a gold medal, and a diploma is presented on Dec’10, the anniversary of the death of Alfred Nobel, its founder. What was his credit to achieve such a prestigious award? It might be rightly said the impressive speeches to his credit, which has earned him the incredible international popularity, his speech at the UN in the last Month is a record to be counted. America is the only super-power in the World after the collapse of Soviet Union but the President of Super-Power never applied or wishes to apply his supremacy in any affairs of the world in his period of nine months instead he declared unequivocally that the world peace rests with mutual interest and mutual respect what spread from London to Port of Spain, Moscow and even to Cairo. He had shown the highest degree of humanity by taking his stance on the torture and the closing of detention center at Guantanamo Bay. Right from the beginning of his Presidency, he had shown his concern for a permanent and sustainable peace in the World in quest of which he was successful to get Russia and China to go along with his plan in halting the spread of nuclear-proliferation. A great tribute was attributed to President Roosevelt by offering Nobel peace Prize who had helped to negotiate peace in Russo-Japanese War.

The out-burst of President Obama:

President said: “Let me be clear, I do not view it as recognition of my own accomplishments, but rather as an affirmation of American leadership on behalf of aspiration held by people in all nations. To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who’ve been honored by the prize, men and women who’ve inspired me and inspired the enter world through their courageous pursuit of peace”. Further after much speculation in the midst of White-House he declared “I will accept this award as a call to action, a call for nations to confront the common challenges of the 21st century”.

Who were the African Americans honored with Nobel Prize:

Dr Ralph Bunche was the first African American to be honored with Nobel Peace Prize in 1950. Fourteen years later, Dr Martin Luther King Jr. was the second to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. He was the youngest Nobel Laureate. He started his carrier by attending a segregated public School in Georgia and graduated at the age of 15. He studied further attending a distinguished Negro Intuition of Atlanta and ultimately became pester of a Baptist Church. He fought for the right of colored people. In 1956, he started Negro non-violent demonstration by dint of which the laws requiring segregation of buses were declared unconstitutional. He wined Nobel Prize at the age of 35. He donated the whole amount of money to the organization for furtherance of the Civil Rights Movement. Nobel Peace committee had made him immortal by giving Nobel Prize but the racial bitterness cost his life by the act of assassination on 4th April, 1968. Another African, of course not an American Citizen, who is Nelson Mandela,  spent 27 years in prison but became a champion of democracy in the midst of equality, pluralism and multi-ethnic-city and honored with Nobel Prize.

The Technology of 21st Century is for the welfare of the people and not for Nuclear Holocaust:

According to the President Obama – all nations have the right to pursue to generate nuclear energy for peaceful purpose but all nations should have the responsibility to demonstrate their peaceful intentions. He expressed his annoyance against the Nuclear Missile explosion of North Korea not to take direct action against North Korea but to ensure the responsibility and remind the danger of nuclear holocaust and pursued the world to pressurize the North Korean Govt. to desist from such kind of nuclear activity for the sake of World peace. The White-House is very much acknowledged with the nuclear proliferation activity in Iran. To bring the situation under control peacefully President Obama at the very outset of taking office declared a gesture of friendship to Iran for which a diplomatic negotiation has initiated even though no substantial achievement is gained till now. He was successful to some extent to remove the anti-American feelings persisted among the Muslim Nations after the Iraq War. He showed his sincerity in quest of peace by withdrawing the American Force from Iraq substantially if not completely under all obstacles and opposition.

Taliban, Al-Qaida & Afghanistan:

Whatever the history behind it to-day Taliban and al-Qaida are thread to world peace. The 9/11 attack on World Trade center had shown the magnitude of the danger which is in no way less danger than nuclear holocaust. Taliban Govt. is removed but not the force of Taliban and al-Qaida. Now the world is faced with the question: Is it wise and safe to maintain peace by bringing the militant Taliban cum al-Qaida to the negotiating table keeping Taliban strength in tact or is it good for the World peace to destroy the Taliban Force at the root. Peace by the sacrifice of security or peace with the stability of security is the trillion dollar question of settlement for the President to honor the dignity of Nobel Peace Prize.

What is hearting the President most?

It is evident in his expression – We cannot accept a world in which more people are denied opportunity and dignity that all people yearn for the ability to get an education, and make a decent living, the security that you won’t have to live in fear of disease or violence without hope for the future. And even as we strive to seek a world in which conflicts are resolved peacefully and prosperously are widely shared, we have to contrast the world as we know it today. In the present state of responsibility for ending a war and working in another alternative to confront a ruthless adversary that directly threatens the American people and our allies.

Post dated Nobel Peace Prize is a Challenge to the President Obama:

Mr. President was in the quest of peace right from the beginning of taking the chair of Presidency but peace for whom, the people of the world who wish to live a decent life in a decent atmosphere in cooperation with the people of the every country of the Globe making the World of 21st century, a World of one Nation, one community of humanity forgetting the fear and hatred and not for militants and militancy. There may be (i) little breakthrough in the Middle-East deadlock between Israel and Palestinians, (ii) difficulties in complete withdrawal of American Forces from Iraq, (ii) more troops in Afghanistan. World Peace may not be achieved in one term of his Presidency but his Endeavour for World peace is reflected in his activity. He never hesitated to say that World Peace is not rested in one person or one nation. Therefore he vehemently declared “ This award must be shared with everyone who strives for justice and dignity: (i) for the young woman who marches silently in the street on behalf of her right to be heard, even in the face of beatings & bullets, (ii) for the leaders imprisoned in her own house because she refuses to abandon her commitment to democracy, (iii) for the solders who sacrificed through tour after tour of duty on behalf of someone half a world away, and (iv) for all those men and women across the world who sacrificed their safety and their freedom and sometimes their lives for the cause of peace”.

I was surprised as much as the President was at his receiving the nobel prize. He hasn't done,in my view, anything to merit the nobel prize and it seems like its..you better now merit it. In a sense he had not choice but to accept it but yet if I would have been in his place, I wouldn't have accepted it.

He hasn't done anything to merit the nobel prize..what were in the judges minds?

First of all the true answer is he as well as the past presidents couldn't bring peace and he won't either. Why? Because God had been put aside. It's that simple.

Hi Dancing,

I admire your sense of reactions. But for the cause of Global peace under the present circumstances, is there any body else other than the President of US to be the commander of peace initiative in the world.

hi Jyoti,

I admire for expressing your sense of feeling. Oslo declared Nobel Peace Prize to Obama. Criticism surfaced from many corners of the world. But the decision of the prestigious Nobel committee can not be undermined so easily. They have not mistaken since inception of 1901 in their decision. Time is there to see the future.

Hi Kelly Engaldo,

Thank you very much for your praise of ornament. But it is what I personally believe peace in the earth for a descent life for mankind in the 21st century if we think we are civilized and repented for the racial and religious war and nuclear holocaust of the past, and get the mental set up that we must not encourage ourselves to be powerful by weapon rather than human love and brotherhood what was predicted by an Indian leader Mahatma Gandhi, Who was once called a half naked Fakir by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill-peace will definitely prevail.
